Haflong town is the nearest major base, located around 41 km from Thuruk.
From Haflong, you can hire a private car to reach the village. Road conditions vary depending on the season, so winter travel should be planned during daylight hours.
🚆 By Train
New Haflong Railway Station is the closest railhead.
Silchar Railway Station is another convenient option and is well-connected to major cities.
From both stations, private taxis are available to Haflong and onwards to Thuruk.
